StudyDeck functions without server connections or cloud databases. There are no user sign-ups, analytical study surveillance pipelines, or cloud synchronization servers.
Your flashcard decks, spaced repetition intervals, and exam review notes stay stored exclusively in your device's sandboxed local application storage.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Because StudyDeck operates offline, we never collect, harvest, or monetize:
- Zero Study Material Uploads: The questions, answers, formulas, diagrams, and notes you write on flashcards are never transmitted over the internet.
- Zero Personal Identity Information: No names, student IDs, school affiliations, email addresses, or account passwords are collected.
- Zero Behavioral Telemetry: We do not monitor how often you study, quiz scores, or memorization response times.
- Zero Location Data: StudyDeck never requests or accesses GPS or network location.
- Zero Advertising Identifiers: We do not track device advertising IDs (GAID/IDFA).
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
All data created within StudyDeck is saved inside the local sandbox of your mobile device:

- Spaced Repetition Data: Ease factors, card review history, repetition intervals, and next scheduled review dates.

4. Device Permissions Explained
StudyDeck requests only minimal permissions strictly necessary for local utility:
- File Storage / Document Access (Optional): Required only if you explicitly choose to export your flashcard decks as CSV/JSON or import shared decks.
- Local Notifications (Optional): Used purely to trigger local daily study reminders at the times you configure.
5. Data Ownership, Backups & Deletion
You maintain 100% intellectual property ownership of your flashcards and study decks:
- Instant Deletion: You can delete any individual card, deck, or reset all app data in settings.
- Complete Removal: Uninstalling StudyDeck or clearing application storage permanently purges all study records from your device.

StudyDeck is fully compliant with global data privacy regulations:
